Physics "New" Faculty Workshop
The conference invites all teachers of physics from upper-level secondary to university level to participate in a professional development workshop. The primary mission of this event is to improve student learning by supporting participants to become knowledgeable users of evidence-based student-centered instruction and in addition to lay ground for a professional teaching career.
Experts and renowned educational researchers offer insights in up-to-date educational developments. Besides, participants engage actively in workshops covering proven teaching settings and essential professional skills. Finally, the event includes many opportunities for networking with peers and to build up a community.
We highly welcome recently appointed professors, lecturers and doctoral students to join us for this unique event in Ascona. The whole conference is modelled according to the American Association of Physics Teachers' "Physics and Astronomy New Faculty Workshop".
