limited for three years with the possibility of an extension.

The successful candidate will contribute to the project „controlled interaction rules in active suspensions” funded by the EU. The project aims to investigate the behavior of self-propelled particles in Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids which interact by means of individual interaction rules which can be imposed externally. The project builds upon the group’s previous work on these and related subjects in the field of active Brownian motion and viscoelastic liquids. We welcome applications from highly motivated and skilled candidates with interest in experimental work and with good command of the English (or German) language (both written and spoken). Duties may also include contributions to the teaching in the Physics Department.

Candidates should have a M.Sc. in Physics or equivalent.
